SMS Terms & Conditions

1. SMS Consent & Opt-In

Users explicitly opt in to SMS messaging by checking an unchecked consent checkbox during account registration before submitting their phone number. The checkbox includes disclosure of message types, frequency, data rates, and opt-out instructions. You can preview the opt-in flow at our registration consent page.

The consent disclosure presented during registration states:

“I agree to receive SMS event invitations, RSVP confirmations, reminders, and updates from Redemption Events. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.”

You must check this box and accept consent before your account is created. No SMS messages will be sent until you have opted in.

2. Types of Messages

Redemption Events sends the following types of SMS messages:

• Event invitations — notifications that you have been invited to an event.
• RSVP confirmations — confirmation that your RSVP has been recorded.
• Event reminders — reminders before an upcoming event.
• Event updates — changes to event details such as time or location.
• Attendance updates — notifications about your attendance record.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your event activity. You will typically receive messages when you are invited to an event, when event details change, or as a reminder before an event you have RSVP’d to. There is no fixed number of messages per month.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Redemption Events does not charge any fees for SMS messages, but standard carrier rates may apply.

5. Opt-Out / How to Unsubscribe

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Redemption Events. After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

To re-subscribe, reply START to any previous Redemption Events message or create a new account in the app.

7. Carriers Supported

Redemption Events supports major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy
